We used some of the money raised through events organised by the Support Group to finance a Street Dance workshop for all the children on Friday, 22nd January. All the children joined in and parents came in to see what they had been doing. The staff didn't get a go, but many of us have some great moves. 

Music Partnership

Sudbury Primary has been selected to take part in the formation of a choir made up of children from a group of Derbyshire schools. We will have the help of a very experienced singing teacher to prepare for a performance at the Assembly Rooms in March: what a fantastic opportunity!

Dance / Drama Club

The after school Dance / Drama club run by Clubs4children began on Tuesday, 12th January and runs for 10 weeks. We have 16 children signed up for the club: that's 43%!

Bags2School

Our appeal for jumble raised £368 - a brilliant effort from everyone. There will be another collection in April.

Healthy Schools Award

The school has earned its Healthy Schools Award. The presentation was in December and was attended by Mrs. Purdon, Mrs. Hayes and 2 pupils. We were very proud to represent the school and show some of our work on healthy eating.
