Computing (ICT)

Pupils are taught computing skills, enabling them to access technology. Computing is used to extend and enrich learning across the curriculum and to enable children to acquire confidence and pleasure in using it. Laptops or iPads are used to develop the pupils’ computing skills including coding and programming, which are both requirements of the National Curriculum. Internet safety is something which is regularly highlighted, and specific internet safety lessons are taught each term to remind pupils about how to keep themselves safe.
