RE

Religious Education is taught in line with Derbyshire’s Agreed scheme. Religious Education in school addresses the search for meaning and fulfilment in life. This process is enriched through the insight and experiences of faith traditions.

The main content of RE at Sudbury is based on the teachings of Christianity. The religious traditions of Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism are also studied. Pupils are provided with opportunities to experience other faiths in practice through school trips and visitors to school. Our aim is to teach understanding and tolerance of all beliefs.
