Summer 2, Week 8

We have made it to that last week of term - well done everyone!  I think I can safely say that this has been the strangest year of teaching I've had in nearly 20 years as a teacher! I am so proud of each of and every one of you. I know that it must feel very strange not to have seen your friends, your teachers and even some of your family for such a long time. You have had to stay at home and miss so many of your normal activities. You have shown such resilience in the way that you have continued with your learning and I have loved seeing your enthusiasm, commitment and creativity. You are all superstars!

Weekly Overview

Summer 2, Week 8 (wc 20.7.20)

You have learnt such a lot this year, both in school and at home. Have a go at the Maths and English booklets for your year group. There are activities covering lots of the things that you have learned. Use the answer sheets to check your work and see how you get on! If you can, have a go on Prodigy and ActiveLearn too. If you need the passwords again, email me on supply@sudbury.derbyshire,sch

Summer 2, Week 7 (wc 13.7.20)

In English this week we are looking at Pie Corbett's 'Eye Spy' poem which you will find here. Have a go at writing your own version. You could even use the website to help you record a radio version!

Maths Week 2, 8th June

Parents, you may have found that the sheets and videos for last week didn't match - I uploaded this week's sheets with last week's videos - many apologies! I have uploaded last week's sheets with the videos for this week, so again they won't match but at least this time the children will have had a heads up on what to do. Do still watch the videos as it will consolidate (and possibly help explain!) the work completed last week.
